Apply for a Grant

The METER Foundation invites applications for its annual charitable grants. In 2020, the Foundation awarded $127,775 to 22 local non-profit organizations. The deadline for applications is February 22, 2021.

Formed in 2018, the METER Foundation seeks to support non-profit organizations by providing financial assistance and volunteers to fight the effects of poverty, promote education, and improve the quality of life in our local communities. The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that are consistent with our mission that would mitigate the effects of COVID-19 and promote opportunities for historically disadvantaged groups and individuals.

The METER Foundation is unique in that it seeks to leverage METER employee volunteer labor and technical skills in addition to providing traditional financial support.   

Qualified organizations are invited to submit an application for support. Please fill out the Grant Application Form. Completed forms should be e-mailed to meterfoundation@gmail.com.

All applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
  • Proposed projects should align with the METER Foundation mission.

In addition, applicants are encouraged to solicit both financial and volunteer labor support.
